Alec recently relocated to Los Angeles from San Francisco, and with him he brings his five years of professional experience working for environmental and social justice causes. At Santa Clara University, Alec interned at the Center for Sustainability, where he led student groups and events raising awareness around environmental sustainability and justice. He went onto work at an environmental NGO as a bilingual outreach specialist for a residential water conservation program in San Jose, California. He served on a team of 8 that made over 3,000 installations of free water-saving showerheads and faucet aerators in a 6-month period. Having spent the past three and a half years in the private sector of human rights and business immigration law, Alec is excited to get back to the non-profit sector and be part of an organization that is working towards long-term, equitable climate solutions for all.
Alec earned his B.S. in Sociology with a minor in music from Santa Clara University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. In his free time, he writes and produces music, edits podcasts, and attends all the live music events he can.
