Addressing climate change means monumental changes to our infrastructure and energy production in Los Angeles. At Climate Resolve we work hard to find solutions to protect Angelenos and promote equity across the County. That means understanding that this transition must maintain the quality of life and dignity of workers. Many refer to this as a high road jobs transition from fossil fuels.
To deepen our understanding of this issue, Climate Resolve has been conducting research and interviewing labor representatives, academics, and advocates. Here you will find a summary of what we found in our research to help build the foundation for our understanding of a high road jobs transition from fossil fuels. We have learned a lot from this research and we will continue to build our capacity as a partner in these conversations as we work towards a climate-safe and just future.
