Seth Jacobson leads Climate Resolve’s Solutions Services team to bring innovative climate solutions to disadvantaged communities. His team’s portfolio includes Climate Smart Schools, which helps school districts to fund, plan, and implement energy efficiency, renewable power, transportation electrification, and water conservation projects. It also includes Sustainability Consulting to help private sector partners achieve net zero emissions through impact investments in innovative projects that generate carbon credits and benefit residents of frontline communities. Additionally, their work includes our Ready for Tomorrow program, which offers free grant writing assistance to municipalities for local city planning efforts and implementation of infrastructure projects that help under-resourced communities adapt to climate change. Seth enjoys the entrepreneurship of helping Climate Resolve to design, launch, and build these programs.
In addition to working for Climate Resolve, Seth is Cofounder/CEO of Post & BIM, an internet startup in the construction technology space. Previously Seth was a Senior Vice President at Palmer Capital, where he financed and developed more than 16 MW of renewable energy projects and Cofounder/Executive Director of the Green Coast Foundation, a nonprofit organization that worked to promote renewable energy in California.
Seth is a LEED Accredited Professional (O+M) and holds a certificate in Corporate Environmental Management from UCSB’s Bren School of Environmental Science & Management. He earned both a Master of Public Policy and an MBA from UCLA, and an AB in Astronomy & Astrophysics from Harvard College. He is also a Senior Fellow at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs.
