Angela Albay-Yenney

Bio:

Angela Albay-Yenney is Climate Resolve’s CivicSpark Fellow for 2022-23 working on the Inland Southern California Climate Collaborative project. She graduated with a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara where she completed internships such as the Habitat Restoration Internship at Coal Oil Point Reserve. During her time at UCSB, she was a student player of the Storke Tower carillon (bells). She also studied abroad for one semester at the National University of Singapore, during which she was able to conduct field research on arthropod communities. Angela has around 4 years of experience working as an Environmental Laboratory Analyst, where she analyzed samples for air quality and environmental health hazards.

Angela was born and raised in the Inland Empire of California, though she spent part of her life in the Philippines where her family is from. She currently resides in the Inland Empire and is passionate about building sustainability, equity and resilience for her community. In her free time, Angela is most likely playing video games on her PC, doing crafts, or playing with her cats.
