Anastasia Alexandria Yulo
Outreach and Communications Fellow
Bio:
Anastasia is the Outreach and Communications Fellow at Climate Resolve. With a B.S. in Environmental Science and a minor in Conservation Biology from UCLA, she is passionate about bridging science communication, quantitative analysis, and community-engaged collaboration to find solutions for environmental and social justice issues.
Before Climate Resolve, she worked at the UCLA Institute of Environment and Sustainability as an Undergraduate Researcher and Data Manager. In this role, she investigated an accessible and standardized method to monitor antibiotic resistance in watersheds globally. She also received formal recognition for her microbiology research conducted at the UNLV when she presented her work at the 2022 Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minoritized Scientists (ABRCMS). Anastasia believes in art as a critical form of expression during difficult times and as a radical platform for self-empowerment. Having a passion for community-engaged art, in 2021, she also interned at the Social and Public Art Resource Center (SPARC) for Public Art Administration.
Outside of work, Anastasia enjoys attending music festivals, mural hunting, reading books, and making music!
