Bio:

Gina is passionate about infrastructure, stakeholder outreach, equity, and the environment. After receiving a B.S. in Civil Engineering, Gina worked for several years at consulting firms on water projects ranging from green streets to hurricane Harvey recovery. Most notably, she worked on Los Angeles River planning. Her efforts focused on project management, engineering design, community outreach, water quality sampling, and technical report writing. When Gina first moved to Los Angeles in 2015 she worked at TreePeople in the policy and research group, assisting with greenhouse gas sequestration calculations, community outreach, urban greening planning, and residential cistern pilot projects throughout Los Angeles. Gina has also worked on several water projects in Uganda to bring clean and accessible water to schools and communities.

After working for several years in Gina returned to school for a graduate degree in environmental law and policy to learn more about the U.S. legal system and how it can be used to respond to historical inequities, structural racism, and the changing climate. Gina will use her technical expertise, project management skills, and understanding of law and policy to help implement equitable climate solutions at Climate Resolve. In her free time Gina likes to explore the different neighborhoods of Los Angeles, make fiber art, and hang out with her dog.
